Cross-cultural dialogue and exchange

Tolmači, meaning interpreters in Slovene, is a collaboration with Slovene drummer Žiga Ipavec and has been in constant development since 2016. It began when I first moved to Europe and met Žiga in a small village in Slovenia and has since been slowly evolving and is intrinsically intertwined with our artistic development. It is primarily a vehicle for exploring free improvisation but with the inclusion of some composed melodies thus focusing on playful interaction and conversation.
